FAQ

We can’t wait to see you in January! Here are some frequently asked questions about the company event on January 26 and 27, 2024.

We have rooms reserved for all of our travelers at the Maven Hotel at the Dairy Block.  It is just one block from our IntelliSource office and two blocks from Union Station.

Yes, we have rooms reserved for all of our travelers at the Maven Hotel at the Dairy Block.  IntelliSource is paying for the room.  However, you will be asked to put down $100/night incidental hold on your personal debit or credit card upon check-in.  This is just an authorization that does not get charged but will show as pending and falls off within a few business days. The Maven can accept debit cards for this but recommends credit cards, your guests will see their incidental hold fall off faster with a credit card.

If this will hinder your check-in or travel plans, please let your manager know or contact Kerri at 720-474-3884 or KaDee at 706-614-4347 and we will work with you to get you checked in.

Yes.  Check-in will officially be open for the Maven at 4:00pm.  If you have provided the name of your guest to IntelliSource, they can check in at this time.  You can also check to see if rooms are available throughout the day upon your arrival.

Once you land and collect your baggage, you will follow signs for the Denver Airport RTD Station – A Line to Union Station.   You can also follow signs for the Westin Denver International Airport Hotel as the train stop is right beside the hotel.  These tickets can be purchased in advance at https://www.rtd-denver.com/routes-services/airport and used via the mobile app or you can purchase them right outside the train stop.  They are $10.50 each way.  IntelliSource will reimburse you for train tickets to and from the airport.

If you have a monthly parking pass for IntelliSource, you will park in the parking garage located at 1899 Wynkoop Street.  If you do not have a monthly parking pass, you will use the valet at the Maven hotel for both Friday, Saturday and overnight.

The Maven has provided discounted valet rates for our group of $40 overnight & $20 daily. We recommend using valet as your group rate is cheaper than self-parking.

When you arrive, you will let the valet know that you are with the IntelliSource group and they will charge the parking fee to IntelliSource.

Yes.  Union Station is a quick 2 block walk to the Maven Hotel at the Dairy Block.

The Town Hall is scheduled in the event space at the Maven Hotel Denver (same location where you will be staying).

For the Town Hall, we ask that you dress Business Casual or Traditional Business. Remember, you will be having a professional headshot taken during this time, so blazers or suit jackets are recommended.

For the Avalanche game, dress is casual but weather-appropriate.  Right now the weather is calling for highs in the low 50s and lows in the high 20s with no chance of snow.

For the event on Saturday night, we ask that you dress Casual Cocktail.

—————————

Business Casual Attire: Business casual, generally comprised of casual slacks and skirts, collared shirts, blouses and sweaters, is appropriate attire in all company locations and for most situations. Exceptions to our business casual policy include those situations when an employee is representing the company to an external audience.

Traditional Business Attire: In general, traditional business attire, such as suits, dresses and tailored pantsuits, is required for occasions involving contact with clients, prospects or the public. Certain situations, such as informal business-social outings, will require personal discretion. Business casual attire may be appropriate in these instances or when a client has expressly indicated that it would be acceptable. At all times, employees are expected to exercise good judgment and dress in a manner consistent with the company’s professional standards.

Casual Cocktail Attire: A step below formal, still dressy but not super casual. Casual cocktail attire is extremely popular and blends formal with comfortable and contemporary. Picture an outfit you’d wear to a fancy restaurant or show, and you’ll be just fine. A suit with or without a tie, dress pants, nice jeans (no holes) dressy jumpsuit, dress, skirts, nice blouses or collared shirts are all in this category.  We highly encourage foot comfort to be ready to win Musical chairs and/or the Dance Off.  Our professional Photographer Jason will be joining us throughout the night for team and individual pictures for keepsakes AND a photobooth for some fun, whimsical pictures.

Inappropriate Attire: Inappropriate attire includes, but is not limited to, active sportswear, shorts, halter tops, beach shoes or similar footwear, T-shirts or apparel with messages or commercial advertising, as well as unkempt or inappropriately revealing clothing. Employees are expected to exercise good judgment in choosing their clothes for these events.

As an added perk this year, IntelliSource is investing in a photographer to take professional headshots of all of our employees who attend the event.  This will be done on Friday from 8am until 1pm and then again from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.  Please dress Business Casual or Traditional Busines for these photos.

The celebration is scheduled in the event space at the Maven Hotel Denver (the same location where you will be staying).

Sure – there are several options for ride-share programs from the airport and around Denver.  You can choose to use a ride-share program such as Uber or Lift throughout the weekend but IntelliSource will not reimburse you for this expense.

Yes. For our team members who live in the metro-Denver area and would like to use Uber for their transportation after the Avalanche game and/or the celebration event, IntelliSource will send you a voucher to cover your transportation.

Once you arrive at Union Station, everything will be in walking distance.

You can grab breakfast or explore Union Station or you can head over to 1899 Wynkoop, Suite 200 for coffee and treats at the IntelliSource HQ office.

Around 11:30am, we will ask everyone to make your way one block to the Maven Hotel where you can have a professional headshot taken by our photographer Jason, see if your room is available for check-in and then network with your colleagues over lunch from 12-1pm.

We will be able to walk to the Avalanche game on Friday night after the town hall.  We will plan to meet in the hotel lobby and go as a group or you can venture out on your own if you want!

Tickets for the Colorado Avalanche game will be distributed via email the week leading up to the event.

Please look for an email from KSE.  Once you receive the email, please follow all prompts until your ticket is in your digital wallet.  Each distributed ticket will have a $30 voucher for food, beverage or merchandise within the arena.  If you do not receive this digital ticket or have trouble accessing it, please reach out to KaDee at 706-614-4347.

If you have an immediate request, please call or text Kerri at 720-474-3884 or KaDee at 706-614-4347.  If your request isn’t immediate, please feel free to send Kerri an email at  kginther@intellisource.com or KaDee at kholt@intellisource.com.

Yes.  We will be providing more and more information as we get closer to the event date.  Expect to see an email on important addresses, contact information, key-note speaker bio and a full agenda before you arrive.  Until then, please feel free to reach out to Kerri Ginther at kginther@intellisource.com with any travel questions or KaDee Holt at kholt@intellisource.com with any general questions or concerns.
