Our Employee Spotlight for October is the amazing Megan Frenzel!
Megan has been with IntelliSource for nearly 7 years, wearing many hats for our company in HR, Executive, and other Implementation teams. As Director of Business Operations, Megan helps our on-site teams to grow while improving the current operations within that business and organization. Though you can find her across different sites, she is mostly found at our corporate office in Denver, Colorado. We asked Megan a few questions about her personally and her time at IntelliSource:
What tidbits do you want your coworkers to know about you professionally?
Working with so many teams within IntelliSource in so many different environments has been rewarding on many levels. It’s also lead me to find a few quirks and fun things about myself.
Anyone who has traveled with me or worked on-site with me learns quickly that I will and do talk to myself while thinking through a problem or drafting communications. It will take you approximately 3 days to learn to just ignore me.
I will crack a joke or hit a punch line regardless if someone is there to hear it… We get to work in a lot of genuinely dynamic environments with a lot of amazing customers and teams, so my motto is to enjoy the ride!
The Frenzel 50/50 is a phenomenon you may experience if we travel together. If I am driving us somewhere, I have a 50/50 shot at turning the correct way down a street. Most times, it’s the wrong way.
What interesting fact do you want your coworkers to know about you outside of work?
I make sure to go skydiving at least once a year and always try to drag first timers with me whenever I go up there!
What hobby did you have when you were younger that most people wouldn’t guess?
I loved to draw, paint, sculpt, and really loved to create new things. Taking random objects that I would find around the house, I would something new. Just like MacGyver, minus the bomb defusing.
Exciting future developments to share
So many cool things on the horizon with our teams and customers! I am excited about the growth and learning opportunities. We have team members positioned and able to share their skill sets along with expertise with other areas of different businesses and industries. I am excited to continue that in very intentional ways with our Operations teams. I also am eager to maintain our focus on leveraging our systems, tools, and resources to evolve with a quickly changing workforces in incredibly varied hiring environments.
